Hi all,
All I've ever heard about ectopic pregnancy is that it will 'result in certain death for BOTH the mother and the baby' if the pregnancy isn't terminated. Is this always true? I genuinely don't know.
Did ectopic pregnancies always result in two deaths in the days before surgery? Are they more common now due to contraception such as IUDs?
It seems so ironic that humanity has explored other planets with robotic probes; yet we still haven't got round to learning how to save the most precious thing of all; a human life in the form of an early term fetus, by somehow moving it down into the womb.
Does anyone here, think humans might consider taking a break from developing nuclear missles and killing each other long enough to sort this one out????!!!!!
Best wishes,
Ahimsa. |
