My studies in Political Science and Women's Studies have been in the area of genocide and human rights violations. I don't know why I had never considered the unborn as having human rights. I read the testimonies of the forced abortions and killings of newborns on the women in the concentration camps, so I can verify that what CBR says is true. I even did a major project entitled "Women in Nazi Germany : How Their Rights Were Violated Under Hitler's Totalitarian Regime". One of my friend's is also a survivor of the Rwandan Genocide, all her family was killed, only her older brother and her aunt are still alive. I've also had discussions with her about abortion and things and she agreed that women need to be helped not told to just "get an abortion". I have since remarked that a lot of the development aid that has gone to Africa has come with strings attached (ie.: get an abortion or get on birth control, then you can have food to eat and clothes to wear). This not done by organisations like World Vision or Compassion International, or Life Outreach International, or the Red Cross, but by UN and secular organisations. I think I want to research this area further, because I know for a fact that this is what has happened in Asia (I live here, in Asia). This seems like such a travesty. here we are trying to turn a new page in history, but we are perpetuating a genocide in these countires. It's crazy what is going on and how the women are being abused by all of this. Anyway, this is a long post, so I'll finish it here. If anyone would like to ask me any questions, I would be glad to answer. Take care, Love, Laura

I agree!
